Crabs

These reef tank safe crabs are small but do their part in cleaning your aquarium.

Arrow Crab (Stenorhynchus seticornis)  Arrow crab
This crab sometimes eats the nuisance bristle worms that nibble on corals.


Boxing crab or Pom Pom Crab (Lybia tessellata).

Small attractive reef-safe crab that carries a tiny anemone on each claw as a form of venomous stinging protection.

Emerald Green Crab (mithrax sculptus)
These attractive green crabs eat algae and uneaten food scraps.

Strawberry Crab ( Liomera sp)
Similar in size and somewhat similar in appearance to the above emerald green crab, but it has vibrant red coloration.


Anemone Crab (Neopetrolisthes maculaus)
Lives among the tentacles of anemones.


Spotted Porcelain Crab
Looks similar in form to the above Anemone Crab but is brown and does not live among anemones.
These small scavengers live among live rock and do fine in reef tanks.

This small reef tank safe hermit is the most populat & most attractive of all hermits.
